Life coaching is a process that helps individuals achieve personal and professional goals by identifying strengths, overcoming obstacles, and developing action plans.

How is life coaching different from therapy?

Coaching focuses on the present and future, helping clients achieve specific goals, while therapy often addresses past issues and mental health concerns. Topics can include career changes, relationship issues, work-life balance, stress management, and personal development.

Coaching can lead to increased self-awareness, improved decision-making, enhanced motivation, and greater overall well-being.

What about confidentiality?

What happens in our sessions stays in our sessions.

I fully understand the value of your trust, and take every precaution to safeguard it. I will provide you with a detailed description of the ethical code that governs every client-coach relationship I enter. This document not only places my standards before you in plain text, but also codifies my commitment to you, the client, and your progress.

How often do we meet and for how long?

Weekly is the goal. Through many years of experience and testing of different time frames, I’ve found that this frequency yields the greatest returns in terms of change. Meeting once a week offers time for reflection and application of learning between sessions, while maintaining the momentum of our work together. Sessions are generally 60 minutes but can be shorter at your discretion.
